Halloween is officially over and it’s time to start
getting ready for some yummy turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie! Before you know
it Christmas will be kicking into high gear right after and then the final days
of 2012 will be upon us. It’s hard to believe how close we are to the end of
another year, the transformations that have occurred and trials many have gone
through; which hopefully made them a stronger and wiser person. But back to the
holidays, the Student Affairs office is officially Halloween free with all our
decorations down and stored. There’s no time to waste though which is why we
are going to jump right into Christmas! So for those who were scared to walk
into the office, no need to be afraid because Santa is on his way!
With Halloween over this also means that Election
Day 2012 will be this upcoming Tuesday, November 6; so be sure to read over all
the propositions, individuals running for office and all that good stuff in
detail. There are several propositions that are very important; a few that some
may need to read the full purpose and pros/cons of it. I know that was the case
even for me on a couple where I needed to read the full details of the
proposition before I sent in my ballot. Unfortunately it is too late to register
to vote, however, those of you who are registered be sure to vote this Tuesday,
November 6. The future of California is in our hands, let’s not let the next
generation down or make it any worse for them!
Until next time!
